Q - Where can
I find the user manual for my product?
A - Most user manuals can be found
HERE,
if your product is not listed on this page,
please contact us at 1-888-374-7177
and we will gladly mail one to you.
Q - How much
salt should be in my salt (brine) tank?
A- It can be up to
3/4"s of the way full and most salt tanks hold
about FIVE 50lb. bags of salt
Q-My salt
tank is empty is that okay, what will happen?
A-No, your salt tank
should have salt in it at all times. No salt
will result in poor water quality
and discolored water if left empty for a long
period of time.
Q-How much
salt should I be using?
A-Standard households
use approximately TWO to THREE bags per month,
this all depends on
your water usage, the
more water used the more salt you will need due
to depletion from use for
reasons such as:
Large household, filling a pool without
bypassing the water treatment
equipment, watering
your lawn or use of a sprinkler system use if
outside spigots are hooked up
to run with your
water treatment equipment and are not bypassed
while in use.
Q-Do you have free salt delivery?
A -Yes, Salt Delivery
is free with a minimum order of 10 bags or more.
Q-Do you sell/carry RES-UP (the blue
water softening liquid) that I cannot find
anywhere?
A-Yes, we do carry it
and you can pick it up at our Berlin, NJ
location or we can deliver it at no
charge when in your
area with a minimum order of 2 bottles or more.
Q-Can I use my water while the unit is
running/backwashing?
A-No, there should be
NO water used during the backwash cycle, this
includes flushing toilets,
doing laundry or just
simply washing your hands. Water being used
during the backwash cycle
will result in poor
water quality because the system needs to flush
out which is why most
systems are set to
backwash in the middle of the night between
2:00-4:00am when most
households are not
using their water.
Q-Why is my unit going off (BACKWASHING)
in the middle of the day when it used to
backwash in the middle of the night?
A-The timer is offset
most likely due to a power outage, you need to
reset your timer back to the
correct time or call
us to come out and reset it for you and also
explain to you how to do this in
the future. If your
timer continues to be offset there could be a
problem with the timer and you
should call for
service to have us check out the timer. |
